reportedly bought the satellite
rights of Kamal Haasan’s action
thriller film, Thoongaa Vanam for a
whooping 20crs deal.
It is said that both Sun TV and Vijay
TV were in the competition but as
the latter felt that 20crs is too much
for Thoongaa Vanam, they backed
out from bidding.
Apparently ,Sun TV has also bought
the Telugu satellite rights of
Thoongaa Vanam and hence the high
price makes sense. Mean time, the
big question which is being asked is
whether the film will get tax
are not getting tax exemption.
