We have seen information about Baahubali satellite rights getting sold out for 25 Crore to MAA TV couple of days ago. However the deal is not finalized yet according to the movie sources. They say MAA TV and Gemini TV are in mad race for the satellite rights of the film and are quoting figures bigger than each other.
However the makers of the film are expecting up to 30 Crore but both the channels may be ready to shell to the extent of 25 Crore. Information and Broadcasting Ministry imposed several rules on TV channels regarding advertisement slots and such a big amount may not be financially viable. But both the channels have no intention to back out given the craze of the project.
